Merial PureVax® Feline Rabies vaccine is currently on backorder. Merial PureVax is the cat vaccine we highly recommend since it is formulated without immune system stimulating chemicals that have the potential to trigger allergic reactions and site reactions.

The company states that the rabies vaccine may become available as early as the end of May or the beginning of June. At this time the doctors at Twin Maples decided it would be best for the majority of our feline patients to wait until the vaccine is available.  Certain feline lifestyles may be at a higher risk for exposure to rabies; therefore we suggest if your cat is due for a rabies vaccination, to contact our office and one of our doctors will discuss with you the best course of action at this time.  We will keep you updated as more information becomes available
